Paradise Of India

Every turn we took.... Every distance we covered... Uttarakhand was making us fall in love again n again !!!!! Road towards the #Auli from Rishikesh has to be the nature's gift which India has got. It's astonishing to see what beauty does India has which we sometimes fail to explore but it does exist in much stunning way.

It was overall 250km ride from Rishikesh towards Auli, which was suppose to be covered up in 7hrs but as we get some amazing scene's while we rode we had to take few snaps of it which made the journey a little more of 9hrs.

We reached Auli around 9pm and it was super freezing up there. Fortunately we booked up our hotel room's while on our way and to our luck room's were really big enough to accommodate all 4 of us in comfy way and having heater was like icing on the cake. Hotel Nature Inn - thats where we stayed in cheap price at peak of the season.

Woke up early in the morning to get the first view of the Snow covered Himalayan range is treat to every traveler's eyes. Ate some parantha's and drove uphill towards the Ski destination spot. All covered up in the snow the place look like its from a whole new world. We parked our car and trekked upwards from where we could ski. To ease the trek there is an option of cable-chair car as well, but it was broken due to some maintenance reason. We walked around a km for half n hour and walking in the snow was indeed more tough than anything else.

Collecting our ski shoes and ski board we started our first ever ski. Believe me nothing comes close to this sport when it comes to control your body with the speed. It takes years to become a skier and thats something which we realized in the very first fall. 3-4 times we boosted ourselves after every fall but gave up after few attempts. We spent all the remaining quality time taking pictures rather getting ourselves hurt badly.

We achieved for what we were here for !!!!

Wrapping up the ski session, it was time to eat Maggi at the very place where we were learing how to ski. Ohhh God !!! Maggi never tasted that good before, it was pure magical secret ingredient one would have added up to make it the most tastiest thing ever. Took last few snaps of this wonderful place and headed back to our room's.

As we had leisure time we decided to head towards the hot water spring around the corners of Tapovan. Again an unexplored place where we din't found any of the tourist as the place seems to be hidden up in the mountain's. Also, on our way we checked out the most hottest hot water spring of region where water is as hot as Lava.

It was one of the Savage day of the trip. The very next day, it was time to head back from Auli with all the memories we could keep with us for the rest of life. Again same route towards rishikesh but we stretched uptil Haridwar where Ganga is at its holy form 😇😊 Offered a small leaf boat with flowers and mud-lamp in it which is considered to be perfect offering to the river.

As the time passed we continued our journey towards Delhi and reached at lightning speed all thanks to Mukul bhai. It was time to say adios until we meet next time to Mukul, who drove all around Uttarakhand with us and guided us at every point.

We stayed up in Delhi for couple of days and what we did here will be covered up in the next blog till then Carry Less and Travel More !!!!!

What we did in Rishikesh????

Road trip in our mind and Backpacks on our shoulder, we stepped out of our home to fill them up with memories and make our guts more bolder. We knew from the start of the trip that its going to be more adventurous tour then the previous one's, as all the activities which we are going to do are the one which we can only dream't about.

Saying that its our road trip, it eventually began from Delhi as we flew from Mumbai to cut short the time. For this tour my companion from mumbai were #Lokesh #Ankit and #Mukul to whom we met at Delhi airport. We began our journey from Delhi traffic towards Rishikesh post meridian. As it was weekend all the delhite's were in full flow to move out of the city and we did experience some heavy traffic at NH334. It was pitch dark as we entered Rishikesh and as we approached to our hotel there was sudden drop in temperature as well. #ZOSTEL that's where we stayed, yes that's the same hotel branch where i stayed in Bir-Billing as well. Too our luck we got the dorm room where 4 of us got accommodated in comfortable way.

Early morning itself we woke up to ritual's sang at the bank of river ganga which was being echoed in whole valley. Got freshen up and headed to our first destination of the day, which was Jumpin heights extreme adventurous sport club. This was the spot where my friend's were going to perform Bungee Jumping and Flying fox. So if you guys ever plan to do bungee jump or any activity at this place do keep an extra budget of 1K aside for video clips and travel fare from rishikesh bus stop if you don't have your own private vehicle. Also, visit this place as early as possible as it does get a bit crowdy post afternoon.

A small detour to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple took almost to the peak of the mountain with some amazing view on the way. Another famous place at Rishikesh is Ram-Jhula and Laxman-Jhula which was an iron-suspension bridge connecting the parts of the city. Was surprised to see that 2 wheeler's were also allowed on the bridge which was making more chaos on it. Everything was worthfull as you see the majestic holy River Ganga flowing with all its mood.

Wandered around the rishikesh in late evening in hunt of finding right place to do have our snacks and the most renowned place of valley was brought to our notice. Its know as "Chotiwala Restaurant" near Ram-Jhula, it was famous for its well-famous dishes and sweets and they had unique way to attract public through live mannequin.

We were suppose to leave rishikesh next morning itself, but rafting pulled us back to rishikesh and we had our time adjusted to do it as early as possible. Waking up again to the holy chants we checked out from our room and headed towards the rafting spot. Damn, it was chilled morning with cold breeze running past us and sending shivers down the spine. Geared up and heard all the safety instructions from our raft guide. HOLY MOLY COW !!!!! We were rafting with full flow in river Ganga and ice-cold water was nailing through our soul. It was a thunderous ride indeed. Cutting down the waves we reached at the cliff jump spot where you take a dip or dive in the river from approx. 30-40 ft height. Yeah, we had our nerves of steel and jumped at a go ☺

Still i get Goosebumps every time i re-call this memories. It's like video's and pictures make us go at these kinda place again and again and whole trip is worth as we get lifetime memories which will last with us forever.

With that said, we wrapped up our Rishikesh trip and headed towards Auli (Paradise Of India).Stay tuned for next blog which will be published shortly. Also, at the end our trip blog i will be letting you guys know about whole fare charges and travel costing of this trip.
