What we did in Rishikesh????

Road trip in our mind and Backpacks on our shoulder, we stepped out of our home to fill them up with memories and make our guts more bolder. We knew from the start of the trip that its going to be more adventurous tour then the previous one's, as all the activities which we are going to do are the one which we can only dream't about.

Saying that its our road trip, it eventually began from Delhi as we flew from Mumbai to cut short the time. For this tour my companion from mumbai were #Lokesh #Ankit and #Mukul to whom we met at Delhi airport. We began our journey from Delhi traffic towards Rishikesh post meridian. As it was weekend all the delhite's were in full flow to move out of the city and we did experience some heavy traffic at NH334. It was pitch dark as we entered Rishikesh and as we approached to our hotel there was sudden drop in temperature as well. #ZOSTEL that's where we stayed, yes that's the same hotel branch where i stayed in Bir-Billing as well. Too our luck we got the dorm room where 4 of us got accommodated in comfortable way.

Early morning itself we woke up to ritual's sang at the bank of river ganga which was being echoed in whole valley. Got freshen up and headed to our first destination of the day, which was Jumpin heights extreme adventurous sport club. This was the spot where my friend's were going to perform Bungee Jumping and Flying fox. So if you guys ever plan to do bungee jump or any activity at this place do keep an extra budget of 1K aside for video clips and travel fare from rishikesh bus stop if you don't have your own private vehicle. Also, visit this place as early as possible as it does get a bit crowdy post afternoon.

A small detour to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple took almost to the peak of the mountain with some amazing view on the way. Another famous place at Rishikesh is Ram-Jhula and Laxman-Jhula which was an iron-suspension bridge connecting the parts of the city. Was surprised to see that 2 wheeler's were also allowed on the bridge which was making more chaos on it. Everything was worthfull as you see the majestic holy River Ganga flowing with all its mood.

Wandered around the rishikesh in late evening in hunt of finding right place to do have our snacks and the most renowned place of valley was brought to our notice. Its know as "Chotiwala Restaurant" near Ram-Jhula, it was famous for its well-famous dishes and sweets and they had unique way to attract public through live mannequin.

We were suppose to leave rishikesh next morning itself, but rafting pulled us back to rishikesh and we had our time adjusted to do it as early as possible. Waking up again to the holy chants we checked out from our room and headed towards the rafting spot. Damn, it was chilled morning with cold breeze running past us and sending shivers down the spine. Geared up and heard all the safety instructions from our raft guide. HOLY MOLY COW !!!!! We were rafting with full flow in river Ganga and ice-cold water was nailing through our soul. It was a thunderous ride indeed. Cutting down the waves we reached at the cliff jump spot where you take a dip or dive in the river from approx. 30-40 ft height. Yeah, we had our nerves of steel and jumped at a go ☺

Still i get Goosebumps every time i re-call this memories. It's like video's and pictures make us go at these kinda place again and again and whole trip is worth as we get lifetime memories which will last with us forever.

With that said, we wrapped up our Rishikesh trip and headed towards Auli (Paradise Of India).Stay tuned for next blog which will be published shortly. Also, at the end our trip blog i will be letting you guys know about whole fare charges and travel costing of this trip.
